Dark circles under eyes

CRUSH YOUR DARK CIRCLES

If too much work, stress, or a late night on the town has the skin under your eyes looking like those of a zombie movie extra, NIVEA MEN can get you back into the realm of the living. The skin under your eyes is a lot thinner than the skin on the rest of your face, and hence, quite sensitive, so taking the time to keep this area healthy is crucial.

Tips to maintaining your brooding eyes

Frequently under eye circles can be attributed to toxin buildup stemming from lack of sleep, stress, smoking, drinking, poor diet, and dehydration. Obviously avoiding these things can go a long way in preventing dark circles, but we aren’t going to tell you how to live your life, rather, we have some easy tips to have your face looking good as new.

DRINK H2O

Water helps flush away unwanted toxins, working to keep your under eyes looking healthy, so drink 8+ glasses a day.

USE PROTECTION

The sun wreaks havoc on our skin, and because the skin under your eyes is so thin, it's particularly sensitive to those harsh rays. Always wear sunscreen and be sure to apply a small amount at a safe distance from your eyes as part of your daily skin care routine.

"KEEP IN MIND, THESE TIPS AREN’T EXCLUSIVE TO MEN, SO IF YOU’RE LOOKING TO SCORE POINTS WITH YOUR BETTER HALF WE CAN ASSURE YOU THAT THEY’LL BE THOROUGHLY IMPRESSED WITH YOUR NEW KNOWLEDGE ABOUT DARK CIRCLES AND EYE CARE, SO BE SURE TO SHARE THE WEALTH."

KEEP IT COOL

While most people are probably quite familiar with the cucumber slice trick, which is quite effective actually, not all of us want to hang out with a salad on our face. If this is you, cooled teaspoons may be your go-to. Simply throw a couple of spoons in the freezer until cool and then place over your dark circles for about 10 minutes. Of course you can always use NIVEA MEN Sensitive Face Cream.

TEA PARTY

Green tea packs a serious payload of anti-oxidants, which have very effective anti-inflammatory properties. What you're going to want to do is place 2 green tea bags in a cup of boiling water and let cool in the fridge. Once cool, place tea bags over your eyes and kick your feet up for 10 to 20 minutes.
