Bad. Does not protect.
I'm a fair skinned adult and normally use Nivea factor 50 with no issue but it was out of stock so got the kids coloured one. It is awful. Thick, does not rub in, leaves you feeling so uncomfortably greasy, stains everything but most importantly DOES NOT PROTECT AGAINST THE SUN. I applied loads yet burned in 30 minutes. If it doesn't work on adult skin then it can't be good for kids skin. Very disappointed and concerned.

Stains clothes
This lotion leaves a green yellow tinge to all of my children’s clothes. Their white polo shirts for school now all need replacing.

Doesn’t work
Used this on my son as directed, reapplied every 2 hours. He now has second degree burns with huge blisters all over his arms and face. A quick google shows other similar stories and Which? Advising this doesn’t provide the SPF advertised in their independant tests and stating do not buy.

We note that you've contacted our Consumer Interaction Team, who'll be in touch shortly to investigate what led to the sunburn. The independent test institute used for the NIVEA SUN Kids Protect & Care SPF50+ Coloured Spray demonstrated that the product achieved an SPF rating above 50 in the most rigorous of the testing protocols. In order to provide the utmost reassurance to our customers on product safety, following the Which? report in June 2021 an independent laboratory retested the product and found that the formula continues to match up to our high standards, scoring an SPF of 58.5. Therefore, we can confidently reassure consumers that, based on independent expert testing, NIVEA SUN remains completely safe and effective for customers and their families to use.
