1. These are the competition specific terms and conditions for the “
NIVEA MEN®
DEEP Real Madrid Competition” (“the Competition”).
2. The promoter of the Competition is Beiersdorf Consumer Products (Pty) Ltd, with registration number 2000/010257/07, a private company duly incorporated under the company laws of the Republic of South Africa and having its registered place of business situated at 4th Floor, Beacon
Rock, 21 Lighthouse Road, Umhlanga
Rocks, 4319 (“the Promoter”).
3. The Competition is only open to
natural persons who are South African residents, and excludes the Promoter, the Promoter’s advertising and promotional agencies, any directors, members, partners, agents, employees or consultants of the Promoter, any supplier of
goods or services in connection with the Competition and the spouse, life partner, business partner or associate, parent, child, or sibling, of any of the persons specified aforesaid.
4. The Competition is open from 09h00 on 4 May 2026 and ends at 23h59 midnight on 31 July 2026 (the closing date). Any entries received before 4 May 2026 and after the closing date will not be considered.
5. It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that their entry is received within the competition dates. Any entries, which are received before 4 May 2026 and after 23h59 on 31 July 2026 will not be eligible to participate, regardless of the reason for the late entry.
6. The Promoter and its affiliates are not responsible for any entries, which are not received by it, regardless of the cause for non-receipt.
7. The Promoter and its affiliates are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network, computer system, server, or provider, which may have hindered entry into the Competition.
8. To enter the Competition, entrants are required to purchase any TWO
NIVEA MEN® products from any participating store in the Republic of South Africa, keep their till s
lip as proof of purchase, and follow following steps to enter:
8.1 Dial *120*607# (USSD Calls charged up to 22c/20sec) follow the prompts to answer some questions about themselves and their purchase; or8.2 Say Hi on the
NIVEA WhatsApp line 087 163 2028 and follow the prompts to answer some questions about themselves and their purchase; and
8.3 Send their till s
lip to the
NIVEA Competition WhatsApp chatbot on 087 163 2028 as proof of purchase.
9. Entrants can enter as many times as they like, subject to each entry being linked to a un
ique and separate purchase, which the Promoter may verify through the product specific barcode and corresponding till s
lip. An entrant can only win a weekly prize once during the Competition period, however, a Weekly Winner is not excluded from standing a chance to win the Grand Prize.
10. Prizes:
10.1 During the 12-week Competition period, 504 (five hundred and four) qualifying entrants stand a chance to win their share of R 1 000 000.00 (one million Rands only) in cash, selected in weekly random electronic draws from all valid entries (“Weekly Winners”):
10.1.1 Weekly Winners will be chosen through a random electronic draw from all valid entries that include images of till s
lips (“Weekly Winner Draw”). The Promoter will review the till s
lips of the Weekly Winners to confirm their validity, and should an entry not be valid, an alternative Weekly Winner will be drawn.
10.1.2 The Promoter will award prizes to the Validated Weekly Winners in accordance with the order in which the Weekly Winners were drawn.
10.1.3 Validated Weekly Finalists will receive a WhatsApp or SMS message containing a special link to the
NIVEA WhatsApp Competition Line (087 163 2028), which they must click to follow the prompts to:
10.1.3.1 verify their identity and details; and
10.1.3.2 confirm the mobile number where the Promoters should send the cash prize redemption codes via SMS,
to claim their cash prize by the deadline stated in the message.
10.1.4 The Validated Weekly Winners will stand a chance to win one of the following cash prizes:

10.1.4.12 27 July 2026

10.2 Grand Prize: 1 (one) double VIP Real Madrid Experience: accommodation, breakfast at hotel, daily stipend (€100) for lunch, dinner and transport. Visa costs, flights, and soccer match tickets included, valued at up to R100 000 (one hundred thousand Rands only) per Grand Prize Winner (the “Grand Prize”).
10.2.1 Qualifying entrants who are in possession of a passport that does not expiry earlier than June 2027 and who are eligible to travel to a Schengen country, have no criminal warrant, no financial
black listing or poor credit record, and/or health issues that prohibit them to travel internationally shall qualify for the random electronic draw of the Grand Prize after 28 July 2026.
10.2.2 The Grand Prize Winner can choose a guest of his/her choice to accompany him/her.
10.2.2.1 The partner elected to travel with the Grand Prize Winner may not be younger than 18 years of age due to the nature of the prize.
10.2.2.2 Should the elected partner not be eligible to travel with the Grand Prize Winner to partake in the Real Madrid Experience, the Grand Prize Winner will be entitled to elect a substitute partner provided such substitute partner is eligible to travel in order to partake in the Real Madrid Experience, failing which the Grand Prize Winner will travel alone and without compensation for having no travel partner.
10.2.3 In order to be eligible to travel, -
10.2.3.1 The Grand Prize Winner and his/her partner must be available to travel during the months of either September, October or November 2026.
10.2.3.2 The Grand Prize Winner and his/her partner must reside in South Africa and be in possession of a valid SA identity docu
ment and/or a valid permanent residence permit and a passport that is valid for 9 months after the date of international travel. The expiry date for passports must not be earlier than June 2027.
10.2.3.3 The Grand Prize Winner and his/her partner must be eligible to travel to a Schengen country, have no criminal warrant, no financial
black listing or poor credit record, and/or health issues that prohibit them to travel internationally.
10.2.3.4 The Grand Prize Winner and his/her partner must have no restrictions to travel to a Schengen country to claim the Grand Prize, and the Grand Prize Winner and his/her partner must be issued with the required Schengen visas to travel, if applicable. Should the Grand Prize winner not qualify for the necessary visa, he / she will forfeit the prize and the Promoter may exercise its discretion to draw a substitute Grand Prize Winner, and these same terms and conditions shall apply.
10.2.3.5 The Grand Prize Winner and his/her partner must both have a FICA approved bank account.
10.2.3.6 The Grand Prize Winner and his/her partner, when applying for a Schengen visa, must be in a position to demonstrate that they have the financial means to travel, which normally means a 3-month bank state
ment (which shows all transactions, including one’s salary and other sources of income, and current
balance) and proof of salary. It is the responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner and his/her partner to apply for a Schengen visa at the Spanish Embassy not later than during August 2026. Should the Grand Prize Winner fail to obtain the necessary Schengen visa before September 2026, he/she will forfeit the Grand Prize and the Promoter may exercise its discretion to draw a substitute Grand Prize Winner, and these same terms and conditions shall apply.
10.2.3.7 Should the Grand Prize Winner fail to meet any of the require
ments set above, or otherwise be unable or ineligible to travel for any reason, the Grand Prize shall be forfeited in its entirety, and the Supplier may, in its discretion, select a substitute Grand Prize Winner, to whom these same Terms and Conditions shall apply.
10.2.3.8 Should the Grand Prize Winner meet the require
ments but his/her elected partner fails to meet any of the require
ments set out above, or is otherwise unable or ineligible to travel for any reason, the Grand Prize Winner may nominate a substitute partner who meets all such require
ments, failing which the Grand Prize Winner shall be entitled to travel alone, without any additional compensation.
10.2.4 Daily stipend of 100 EUROS will be allocated to the Grand Prize Winner to be used for meals and travel, outside of the prize inclusions, as determined by the Promoter and/or its appointed travel service provider.
10.2.5 The Grand Prize excludes -
10.2.5.1 Items of a personal nature;
10.2.5.2 Any sightseeing and excursions that are not part of the Real Madrid Experience;
10.2.5.3 Daily drinks and meals (other than breakfast at the hotel);
10.2.5.4 Medical and travel insurance;
10.2.5.5 Application fees for passport and/or a visa, if required; and
10.2.5.6 Additional spending money.
10.2.6 Any additional extras are to be settled by the Grand Prize Winner;
11. The Promoter will attempt to contact an eligible winner 3 (three) times over a 72 (seventy-two) hour period on the cell phone number used to enter. If an eligible winner cannot be contacted, the chance to win a prize will be forfeited and a backup eligible winner will be drawn, and these same terms and conditions shall apply.
12. Eligible winners will have 72 (seventy-two) hours from the date on which they were contacted by the Promoter, to verify their details, give feedback on questions, provide requested docu
ments and to provide their passports, failing which the chance to win a prize shall be forfeited and a backup eligible winner will be drawn and these same terms and conditions shall apply.
13. The Promoter shall request the winner’s, and his/her partner’s, consent in writing to his / her image and/or likeness being used and published by the Promoter in connection with the Competition for a period of 12 (twelve) months after he / she has been announced as the winner. The winner and/or his/her partner may decline the use of his / her image and/or likeness by the Promoter.
14. The Promoter reserves the right to change and/or postpone or terminate the Competition immediately without notice. In the event of such change or termination, all entrants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of this Competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Promoter or its agents or distributors.
15. Neither the Promoter not its agents, distributors, nor any of the Promoter’s directors, officers, employees or agents shall be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever, which may be suffered by the entrants in connection with this Competition or the use of the prizes.
16. The eligible prize winners may be required to sign an indemnity. Failure to sign the indemnity shall result in the prize being forfeited.
17. All risks and ownership of the prizes shall pass to the winners on transfer/delivery thereof and hence all of the Promoter’s obligations in regard to the Competition as well as in regard to the prizes shall terminate.
18. The Promoter shall not be liable for any costs incurred by the entrants and eligible winners for entering the Competition or in claiming any prizes, where applicable.
19. All the information provided or related to this Competition shall be managed, captured, and approved by the Promoter, and will not be used for any other purpose than for execution of the Competition and in line with applicable legislation.
20. User data collected via entry for this Competition will be stored for as long as it is legally required to and in accordance with the
Protection of Personal Information Act, No 4 of 2013 and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, https://www.

21. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit, or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the participant or the Promoter in terms of the Consumer
Protection Act, 68 of 2008 ("CPA").
22. By entering the Competition, entrants acknowledge that the Competition will be managed in accordance with the provisions of the CPA. Qualifying entrants undertake to expeditiously do all things necessary to enable the Promoter to comply with their obligations under the CPA.
23. The Promoter’s decision(s) shall be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
